My name is Matt Gregoire. I am a retired firefighter/EMT. I was a firefighter for the City of Woonsocket, RI for 15 years and was assigned to Engine Co. 3, in the city's North End. Prior to my appointment on the Woonsocket Fire Department, I was a volunteer firefighter in North Smithfield, RI for 5 years.
I have been an avid firebuff all my life and started filming incidents (fires and motor vehicle accidents) in 1997. Radio communications are heard in all incidents. My fire videos are frequently used on local news stations in the Providence and Boston area and are also used in fire department training programs all over the country. Additionally, my fire footage was used in the "Walls of Fire" program on PBS for which I received an award.
Providence Fire Videos was started due to an overwhelming response to watch the incredible footage in these videos. Videos contain footage from events throughout Southern New England, including Providence, Worcester, Taunton, Pawtucket, Woonsocket and more.
